Saigon – Cu Chi tunnel
Depart from HCMC: 7:30 am and a transfer by vehicle out of Saigon to avoid the heavy traffic of Saigon. The ride will begin in rural villages. We start cycling through rice paddy before crossing the river to ride a dirt track along the river and pass fruit gardens and rubber plantations. We especially ride pass villages making rice paper in the countryside far away from Cu Chi tunnels. Enjoy lunch at a nice restaurant in a rural town before we explore Cu Chi tunnels. Have a transfer back to Saigon in the afternoon.
Saigon – Dalat by air and by bike
You will have an early morning flight to Dalat, and our team will meet you at Lien Khuong Airport for the first day of cycling. Then a 20-minute by vehicle will take you rural village. We will bike along back roads through rural towns and ride past the natural countryside of the highlands, pepper and rubber plantations, and pine forest.
Challenge some gentle hills before a down hills to Nha Trang
After breakfast, a transfer by vehicle takes you to rural villages for a long day of cycling. The back roads are through the valley, pine forests, and breathtaking views to the peak, about 1500m above sea level, allowing you to enjoy rolling hills and wild scenery and challenge your ride on windy roads. Then we ride 29 km down the Pass of Hon Giao. Stop for lunch at a restaurant by the river at Suoi Loi village. In the afternoon, we take a leisurely bike ride to explore villages by the river, ride past sugar cane farms and rice paddy fields on paths through the beautiful countryside of Khanh Vinh and keep cycling onward to Dien Khanh village before you have a short transfer to the city of Nha Trang in the late afternoon.
Nha Trang – Tuy Hoa - salt field - fishing villages
A transfer takes an hour and twenty minutes to get to Ninh Hoa town, and we choose the beautiful back roads through green rice paddies and mountainous villages before we bike on nice country paths, passing fish farms and shrimp farms and stopping at the local market to try some local snacks. Then we will hit the past again on a small dirt track; say hello to kids returning from school and farmers working on salt farmlands. Enjoy lunch in Dai Lanh Beach. In the afternoon, we ride on the coastline over undulating hills to the beach and paths along villages to Tuy Hoa city.
Tuy Hoa – Quy Nhon - explore Da Dia Reef - Ride rolling hills
We start to ride from the hotel, ride on quiet coastal back roads countryside where we turn right onto a small road that leads us through farms of sweet potato, tapioca, and rice paddy fields before passing small fishing villages. There are many stops; meet locals at small markets selling fish and prawns. Enjoy a lovely ride to a big fishing village on gentle hilly back roads. Stop for a break at a floating coffee shop by the sea. Then we carry on this adventure on the countryside track to Da Dia Reef. Ganh Da Dia is a seashore area of uniformly interlocking basalt rock columns located along the coast in An Ninh Dong Commune, Tuy An District, Phu Yen. The area is about 100 meters wide and 250 meters long, with an estimated 35,000 columns of basalt rocks. The rocks are dark lava columns with roughly flat surfaces of different shapes - round, pentagon, hexagon, polygon etc. Ghenh Da Dia looks like a gigantic beehive or a pile of dinner plates, hence the name – Ghenh Da Dia by locals. These rock columns were created from volcanic eruptions millions of years ago; when the molten basalt flows met cold water, they solidified and shaped these rare polygonal formations due to thermal contraction effects. There will be selected seafood floating restaurant by the sea for lunch today. After lunch, we will ride to Chi Thanh, past many small villages, and see thatch houses, buffaloes, and cows working on farmland in the mountain area. Your afternoon ride is a challenge. We ride rolling hills to remote hamlets, passing corn farms and sugar plantations, and pedal along railways as we race with the Reunification train to Vanh Canh. We will have a transfer to Quy Nhon City in the late afternoon.
Ride Qui Nhon – Quang Ngai - Stunning beaches - hillside villages
The highlight of today's ride is to see the beauty of Vietnam's coastal back roads, including; charming villages, local beaches, salt, and ride paddy fields. Challenge some small gentle hills and small fish markets. You will control your ride at your own pace with many stops to capture peaceful scenery and beautiful landscapes. It is a fabulous day of experiencing the beauty of coastal back roads and charming villages and exploring the country's towns of coconut in Tam Quang before a transfer takes you to city of Quang Ngai.
Quang Ngai – Hoi An - coastal paths, ferry boat crossing - Charmming villages
The next destination is an ancient town- Hoi An which was the first central Southeast Asian trading post in the 16th and 17th centuries, where many Chinese and Japanese immigrants settled. Hoi An is an excellent place to stay and learn Vietnamese, Chinese, and Cham old-age culture and spend your own as pleasure time. The morning ride starts after 10 minute drive to My Son village, where we visit a memorial of My Lai massacre, My Son village. We bike on a countryside road through irrigation canals and farmlands villages, passing rice paddy fields and a lake before we ride on a gentle hilly rural trail in remote foothills. There will be many stops on the way; at villages, farmlands of vegetables, sweet potato, cassava, corn, and eucalyptus. In The afternoon, we continued our cycling adventure in the rural Dist of Tam Ky, riding on the rural track, and riding through hamlets; you could be amazing you are cycling and passing many thatch houses, bamboo trees and farming lands. See local farmers drive bullock carts behind water buffalo or cows down a rural countryside road and bamboo bridges linking village to village over natural creeks.
Hoi An on a free day
Enjoy a free day on your own time in Hoi An, walk to discover its culture, have a conversation with locals, and relax for the rest of the day at the resort's swimming pool.
Ride Hoi An - Hue - challenge Hai van Pass
Depart from Hoi An at 7:30 am by our vehicle driving on coastal roads to
Hai Van Pass via Da Nang city. On your bike adventure in the morning is to challenge Hai van Pass. This is an opportunity for you to perform your cycling skills and overview breathtaking scenery from this Pass. Its about 12km windy road to the peak, where all stop for a coffee break, have your photo taken and be ready to ride down to Lang Co. Seafood meal for lunch at a restaurant by Lang Co beach. In the afternoon, enjoy back road cycling on peaceful coastal roads in breathtaking scenery along the mountain, a pleasure bicycle riding on smooth paths through the lagoon, stop for a photo at picturesque fishing villages of the lagoon, ride on the rural trail along traditional villages, enjoy your quiet dirt road biking that wind through the countryside and tiny village farms.
Hue city - Dong Hoi - Coastal routes along lagoons, asn old villages
The distance from Hue to Dong Hoi is too far to bike. So we leave the hotel a bit earlier at 7:00 am to visit the Purple Citadel of Hue. Then a concise transfer you by van/bus to an out of town to start the ride. Today' ride is effortless because we ride on flat smooth country back roads, and some parts are open air. Some features are through villages, passing vegetable fields, and remote villages with many old pagodas and temples. We will have lunch at Cua Viet Beach. In the afternoon, we continue cycling on beautiful coastal roads to Cua Tung. We end up on today's ride here for 2 hours, driving on the A/C van to Dong Hoi.
Dong Hoi – Phong Nha and it's caves
The biking distance from Dong Hoi to Phong Nha is short but many single tracks through young forests and smooth country roads along mountainous areas are unique and particular scenery. We can leave the hotel a little bit late. In the morning, we explore the fishing villages of locals on paths along the ocean and some of the jungle near the mountain range. We ride on hilly back roads through rubber plantations and ride paddy of west Ho Chi Minh trails before we reach to the river. Then we enjoy mountain views and ride on footpaths along the river to Phong Nha. In the afternnoon, travel to Paradise Cave by bus, spend an hour and a half exploring this cave, then return to Phong Nha, enjoy dinner in town.
Phong Nha - Dong Hoi for flight to Hanoi
After having breakfast, we depart at 7:00 am from Phong Nha by vehicle to the airport of Dong Hoi. It takes around an hour and a half to get to the airport by shortcut. Our guide will meet you at Noi Bai airport and take you to a hotel for check-in. Relax and explore Ha Noi City on your own in the evening.
Ha Noi – Halong Bay
