Day 1:

Ho Chi Minh Arrival

On arrival at Tan Son Nhat Airport, Be warmly welcomed by your guide and diver, and they will accompany you to the hotel downtown- Saigon city center. Check in the hotel, have a rest of the day. Ho Chi Minh City is the bustling and vibrating economic centre of the South. Formerly known as Saigon, today it is a city centre by locals. Saigon used to be the “Pearl of the Far East” in the last centuries as it was an important trading center for Asian traders and Western merchants.

Day 5:

Chau Doc – Speed boat - Phnom Penh

This is the last day of your journey in Vietnam, and you will reach to Cambodian border soon. After breakfast, check your belongings, and keep your passport on your day bag so that you could show it at the border Gates. Say goodbye to the team and board on the speed boat to leave Vietnam for Cambodia.


The boat journey is upstream of the Mekong River, and it takes about 4 hours and a half. It is the perfect time to watch locals living, several small routine ferry boats cross through, and floating villages along the river banks. Enjoy a healthily packed lunch on board with the crews. A local guide accompanies the group to help you with some visa documents at Vinh Xuong Water Border Gate and then the visa procedure at Kaamsamnor Border Gate before the boat journey to Phnom Penh- the Capital City of Cambodia. Upon arrival at the dock in Phnom Penh city, you can get a taxi to the hotel as your own arranged. Tour End!

Day 4:

Can Tho – Floating Market – Sadec – Chau Doc

The highlight to visit in the morning is the real floating market of Cai Rang.  This market is famous for it's real with hundreds of big and smaller boats anchored around to advertise the items they want to sell or buy. After breakfast, take a 40-minute boat trip from Ninh Kieu Pier to Cai Rang. Enjoy a life of locals along waterways to Cai Rang, where numbers of small boats exchange farm products, from boat to boat.


The boat gets through the market slowly, so we watch locals exchange farm products from boat to boat, and it is also an excellent time to capture the market in action.  Every boat has a long upright pole at its bow on which samples of the goods for sale hung on the bamboo sticks with bananas, pineapple, sweet potatoes, watermelons and so on.  Each product for sale is easy to recognize because it's hung up with a bamboo pole.


Disembark your boat for another land market that sells all kinds of fresh fruits and vegetables. Then carry on the journey to Sadec town by car. Make a stop at the flower villages, experience how people grow them, and walk through some ornamentals and bonsai gardens. These villages are fabulous places for flower lovers. Next, a short drive takes you to the ancient house of Huy Thuy Le. The house's owner was in love with the French lady from 1928 to 1932 during the Indochina time. The town had become famous since the movie "The Lover" was published. Sadec is an old town built by the French, and it becomes known to tourists since the movie "The Lover" had published. Marguerite Duras's love story is about when she fell in love with a local man before 1932. You will be told the story when you come to the house. Enjoy delicious lunch at home before 2.5 hours of vehicle driving to Chau Doc.
 

Day 3:

Saigon – Ben Tre - Can Tho

Breakfast at the hotel, check out for an hour transfer to Ben Tre, Mekong Delta. This morning, you will be immersed in the fascinating Mekong Delta with a couple of hours of boat cruises through the lush orchards and lively villages along. Arrive in Ben Tre around 10:00 am, then you take a boat trip along the riverbank before crossing the Cai Cam to visit the village, stop at a coconut processing workshop. You can see locals making plenty of valuable products and experience daily life.


Next, you will have a short tour through the village by Italian 3 wheel vintage Lambro. This three wheels passengers vehicle will remind you and locals about Saigon City from 1960 to 1975. However, the War ended and the Italian 3 wheels cars still using until late 1990. The vintage Lambro continues driving you to another family workshop producing coconut mats.


After the visit, take a walk to lush orchards, taste some tropical fruit before you enjoy a leisurely small sampan rowed on a natural creek through green water palms alongside. Lastly, you get back on the boat and continue cruising. Enjoy a special lunch with a local family in a beautiful traditional garden house in rural before a 2.5 hours drive to Can Tho.
 

Day 2:

Saigon – Tunnels – Cao Dai Temple

Start the day with a visit to Ben Duoc original tunnels located a couple of hours vehicle drive to Tay Minh Province. Arrive around 11:30 am, and this is a perfect time to learn about Cao Daism, its history and have time for endless photos before you watch the followers attending noon mass. Cao Daism is a unique religion combined with Catholicism, Buddhism, Confucianism, Taoism and Islam.


Then have lunch in the famous restaurant, continue travelling to Cu Chi tunnels, and visit the Ben Duoc original tunnels. Viet Minh dug the tunnels in 1948 when the French were here, then Viet Cong built the tunnels longer and more complicated than when US Army was in South Vietnam until 1975. It is an impressive underground constructed base. You explore these tunnels with your leader and also accompanied by Viet Cong guide with local knowledge. Then return to Saigon in the late afternoon.

Day 1:

Ho Chi Minh on Arrival

On arrival at Tan Son Nhat Airport, welcomed to Ho Chi Minh City, greeted by your guide and the driver, then go downtown to check in the hotel. Spend the rest of the day exploring the Saigon dynamic city on your own. Formerly is Saigon and Vietnam's economic and financial centre today. The city offers tourists so much to see and do with entertainment, terrific foods,  day trips to enjoy livelily streets, historic sightseeing; Reunification Palace, General Post Office, War Museum, ancient pagodas and endless short trips from Saigon

Day 1:

Day trip to Ben Duoc tunnels & Cao Dai Temple

8:30, your guide and diver will meet you at your hotel for a fantastic day to visit the incredible Cao Dai temple before the followers attending their noon mass at the holy temple. Just a coupe of hours by car, you will be at the Cao Dai Temple around 11: 20 am, you have much time for photos endless and walk around compounds to see more sites.


Cao Dai is an indigenous religion encompassing Buddhism, Christianity, Confucianism, Hinduism, Islam, and Taoism. Followers of the religion hold several documents as holy, and they have to wear the long dress at noon to pray. This belief practice began in 1921 when a man received a vision of the Divine Eye, a powerful symbol of Cao Daism. Most followers are white at noon mass, and the pope, archbishop, cardinal, and priest are colourful. After the noon mass, you continue travelling through the compound and make some stops, visit more sites before your lunch at the best restaurant in town. 


The vehicle transfer takes you through lush farmlands, idyllic villages, and rubber plantations to Ben Duoc tunnels in the afternoon. The Head Quarter and also the command centre of the underground network tunnels of more than 250 km. The tunnels of Cu Chi are an immense network and were used for hiding and fighting during combat and served as communication and supply routes, hospitals, food and weapon caches, and living quarters for numerous North Vietnamese fighters. The tunnel systems were important to the Viet Cong in their resistance to enemy forces and helped counter the growing American military effort.


Arrive at the Be Dinh tunnels around 3:00 am, watch a documentary film, then explore the renowned fighting tunnels on foot, traps, bunkers, trenches and experience crawling a piece of the underground tunnels. Then return to Saigon by vehicle in the late afternoon.
