Cao Lanh is a big city and a new town after the Vietnam war. The drowsy former capital of Dong Thap province, Sa Dec, is a comparatively peaceful city of tree-lined streets and fading colonial villas. In the afternoon, your guide will plan a shady unique dirt track so you can enjoy the scenery to Can Tho.

Ride on the dirt track to Cho Moi, and pedal past Hoa Hao Buddhism holy temple—an afternoon cycle ride to the Monastery, the first Monastery was established in 1874 in Indochina. We will continue to explore many islets and end up at Cao Lanh.
Today's cycling will begin after a short transfer takes you to Urban Dist, where you are ready for off-road cycling. We ride on a path, single track across villages and wild grass fields, and cajeput forests along the river as you race with local cargo boats. Then we follow a single trail along the eucalyptus field to mountain To, near Tri Ton. Passing some pagodas through palm trees close to the peak. Stop for lunch at Tri Ton town. Tri Ton Dist belonged to An Giang province which owned many beautiful mountains and hilly single-track and country roads in the Mekong Delta. This is the best time you explore this forest, including; a motor boat ride, sampan boat rowing, and seeing many kinds of birds and bats when they are returning home to sleep. The highlight of today' cycling is to explore a network of natural creeks through removed villages and rice paddy fields, charm villages on your way cycling to Vinh Phu. Lunch en route to Rach Gia. In the afternoon, we cycle on small asphalt countryside roads, through huge rice fields, and villages along river, and share space with locals on small ferries before we finish today's ride at Ben Nhut. Then we get on support vehicles and transfer to Rach Gia.
Tra Vinh and Soc Trang are pleasant local routes. They are narrow, smooth, and complicated paths, giving you plenty of time for photo opportunities, weaving their way through the vibrant green scenery. Ride on local trails through farmlands and charming little villages, Khmer temples, and primary schools in rural villages. After a ferry crossing Dung Islet, we travel through villages along the river banks, see locals farm fish and shrimps, see peaceful landscapes on the islands, and end up the day after a ferry crossing to Dai Ngai.
After you are picked up at the hotel, you will transfer to Long An province for a morning ride. The unique paved road fitted the bikes take you through rice paddies, dragon fruit, and vegetable plantations. Make stops for lunch in My Tho city. Then we have a half day cycling to explore the countryside of Phong Dien and end up bike pedaling at the Binh Thuy ancient house. Return to Saigon by van.
Morning bicycle riding allows you to get close to Khmer farmers. Cross peaceful rice paddy fields on concrete paths, and pedal through villages with beautiful views of the countryside in surroundings. You will have some stops home of local to experience the living of Khmer. You will have your photo taken at Khmer temples and spend time walking to understand the difference between Theravada and Mahayana branches of Buddhism. In the afternoon, we cycle on the back road through fruit orchards and vegetable fields and cross some mall natural creeks with locals on the ferry. These ferries are the daily means of transport in rural areas. Have a short transfer to Can Tho city in the late afternoon.
