Day 1:

Ride Ho Chi Minh to Tra Vinh

Leave Saigon for Mekong Delta with the Vietnam Backroads team. It takes around 2 hours to get to Ben Tre city by A/C minivan. We will discover people's lifestyles and activities from their homes and its surroundings in Ben Tre. In the late afternoon, you will have a ferry boat taken to the other side of Co Chien river and continue biking to the hotel in Tra Vinh.

Day 3:

Chau Doc-Phnom Penh by speeds boat

You will have an early start from the hotel for Cambodia today. A local guide of Hang Chau boat will pick you up at 7:15, your hotel after breakfast, and take you to the dock at high speed leaving at 7:30 am. A local guide is also helping you with visa applications at the border gate. This is a chance you can enjoy the beautiful scenery and local life on the water on the Mekong River from Chau Doc to Phnom Penh city. The packed lunch is included. End of tour! Day 2:

Can Tho - Chau Doc

Your second day is very long because it is too far to ride. After breakfast, we check out for Chau Doc border town. A short boat trip lets you see the busy floating market in action. Then we ride on marrow country road to Phong Dien, a short break at the local coffee shop before we cycle on smooth paths and along river banks to Thoi Lai. You could see people selling timber, wooden boat building, rice husking mills, and daily river activities on your biking. We will have a short transfer after lunch to avoid getting heat and start to ride in the afternoon to explore many remote villages to Long Long Xuyen city. The cycling of this afternoon is on unique routes, taking you deep into towns where westerners rarely be seen. We rode our bike for an hour and a half to Chau Doc.

Day 1:

Saigon - Cai Be - Vinh Long - Can Tho

After meeting at the hotel, you will relax on an A/C van driving through the busy HCMC to Mekong Delta. The first-day ride starts in Cay Lay's countryside and ends up at Vinh Long town. You will ride on concrete paths along fruit gardens and villages with tiny concrete houses along the way before you cross the river and ride through many small islands. Stop for lunch at a local home on a small Island. In the afternoon, we continue our riding through Dong Phu and Binh Hoa Phuoc villages as we travel through An Binh Island and have a ferry crossing to Vinh Long town. Right here, your driver is waiting. We get on a van/bus to Can Tho city in the late afternoon.

Day 3:

Take a Super Dong Ferry to Con Dao Islands

After a leisurely breakfast, do check out for the boat rides to the floating market, which is located in Cai Rang. The boat will slowly get through the floating market so that you see everything in action as it's close up so you can take more photos you can. It's funny that many tiny sampans sell local breakfasts; noodle soup, broken rice with porks, and coffee. Then we disembark the boat for the morning ride to Tan Phu Thanh, Hau Giang. Right here, we get on our support van to Cai Tac township for lunch. If the weather was hot, we nap at a coffee shop -on the hammock to wait until it's cooler to start the afternoon adventures to Bat Pagoda. Cycling Ho Chi Minh to Phu Quoc Islands

Day 2:

Biking Can Tho to Soc Trang

Day 1:

Cycling Saigon to CaiBe - Can Tho

Leave the noisy city of Ho Chi Minh for an hour and a half, driving a private vehicle to Ngu Hiep village. Adjust the saddle for a complete experience of the landscape, people, and Mekong Delta' cultures. We cross a small branch to Ngu Hiep Island, and ride across fertile soil- fruit orchard farmland. Just about 12km reaching the ferry, which we get on for Tan Phong Island. It's close to Cai Be township, just a ferry crossing in 10 minutes. Enjoy a delicious lunch and local dishes at the local home. This incredible ride gives you much time to experience water transport by the Mekong River in rural villages. Many small Islands in the Mekong River have primary and middle school only, so high school girls and boys travel on ferries to Cai Be. This is why many small boats with long-tailed engines spend much of their time carrying farm products to Cai Be land market and floating market. We will explore vibrant islands and local lifestyles, family workshops, and other exciting things before getting on our support vehicle for an hour to Can Tho.
