Day 6:

Chau Doc to Phnom Penh

A four-hour boat trip will take you to Phnom Penh's capital. This is an opportunity for you to enjoy scenery alongside the Mekong River river banks from Chau Doc to Phnom Penh. Our team will pick you up and take to your hotel for check-in. Free to explore the capital city on your own.

Day 5:

Long Xuyen - Chau Doc

Today, we cycle through the farmlands, which were abandoned lands before 1975. Since 1980, Mekong farmers have moved and settled in this land. Witness first-hand how big the rice bowl of Vietnam is. Have a coffee break at a little village by the canals. Continue riding to Ba Chuc, the killing fields near the Cambodian border where the red Khmer soldiers killed over three thousand Vietnamese people in 1978. Lunch en route. After lunch, ride to the border town of Tinh Bien. Then, cycle to Chau Doc. Stay the last night in Vietnam.

Day 4:

Can Tho - Long Xuyen

The first thing to know in Can Tho is the real floating market; you need to see the market in action. After a boat ride to this market, we will explore various waterways that crisscross the countryside of Phong Dien, O-Mon, and Thoi Lai. This afternoon, continue biking through removed villages and stopping at Bang Lang stork garden before biking to Long Xuyen city.

Day 3:

Tra Vinh - Can Tho

Tra Vinh is a seaside province in Mekong Delta. Still, many local beaches at Ba Dong are not famous because they are too far from the city, and the water could be the clearest pretty things to travelers is the amazing landscapes and its cycle routes which you can bike on to as getting close to friendly peasants and Khmer people. Today you will be cycling on beautiful paths, past the farmlands and stopping at some hamlets on your way cycling to Cau Ke for lunch. In the afternoon, continue your ride heading off to Can Tho.

Day 2:

Ride CaiBe - BenTre - TraVinh

From homestay, we cycle to Cho Lach through the Island of An Binh, past local markets, schools, and fruit gardens on a dirty track. After lunch, a short transfer to avoid getting hot, we choose the best route for your afternoon riding. You will have a beautiful ride through villages with thousands of coconut trees on paths before a ferry crossing takes you to Tra Vinh.

Day 1:

Cycle Ho Chi Minh to Cai Be

After the Vietnam Cycling Tours team picks you up at your hotels, we drive on free ways to My Tho for an hour and a half. See farmers and gardeners working on farming land and fruit orchards on paths. You are sharing space with kids going to school on ferries before you have lunch served at local. An easy ride allows you to stop at local to understand living activities on biking to homestay.

Day 4:

Speed boat Chau Doc to Phnom Penh

You will have an early start from the hotel for Cambodia today. A local guide of Hang Chau boat will pick you up at 7:15, your hotel after your breakfast, and take you to the dock at high speed leaving at 7:30 am. A local guide is also helping you with visa applications at the border gate. You can enjoy the beautiful scenery and local life on the water on the Mekong River from Chau Doc to Phnom Penh city. Day 3:

Cycle Can Tho to Chau Doc

From the hotel, its a short boat trip to the floating markets of Cai Rang, the biggest on in the Mekong Delta's Vietnam. On arrival, you will find yourself in the middle of a bustling and lively trade market on water. After the floating market, we travel through fruit orchards and cycle to remote villages in the area with natural creek landscaping and man-made canal, where we experience the warm hospitality of local families. Get back to A/C minivan for a transfer to Long City for lunch. After lunch, we will discover the new farming land, beautiful landscapes, and a transport system by waterways and motorcycle/bicycle only. If time permits, we will stop at Ba Chuc killing field in the late afternoon.

Day 2:

Bike Tra Vinh to Can Tho

Your morning cycling is to explore and understand how Khmer people to make their living all year round in Tra Vinh province. You will ride on paths into villages and get close to Khmer living in Tieu Can, Cau Ke rural Dist. Your hands will be sore from waving at locals as kids run to the paths, smiling, laughing, and saying hello! Until now, Khmer people are still cultivating their farmland in the traditional style. After lunch, the afternoon' ride starts in the town of Tra On. We bike to explore fruit gardens on islets and take many ferries crossing Lower River to Can Tho city.
